I'm so glad I didn't buy a season ticket. Last season, McNulty said he had to play the sideways/backwards football with the players he had. He recruits virtually a full team in the summer and still plays walking football. McNulty, the fans hate this style of 'football'. Change it or leave.

He’s right….York were holding on. Apart from the goal. The two off the posts. And the two clear denied penalties and ball handled outside the box. Rochdale deserved to win.

Another York fan here...sorry but I'd be embarrassed if I wad a Dale fan and my manager came out and spoke like that (reminds me of a certain manager we had whose name began with "Mc" 🙄) . Rather than talk about how good your team are and whether York saw you as a "big marker" just get your head down and improve. Should've won by 3 goals tonight.

York fan here. Will say I think York fans have taken his comments to heart a little too much. 90% of the comments here are York fans and not Rochdale. I thought Rochdale played very well, especially away from home against a team thats not seen this much positivity since 2014. York were very very good once again, but Rochdale DID have chances (as did York). York had most of the play, but Rochdale played some good football at times too. Like I say it was just two good footballing teams going at it. Think it’s a bit of a stretch to call it delusion as Rochdale could’ve easily drew that game. I will say that I don’t think they deserved to win however.

Bloke talks shite. York dominated most of the match and could've easily scored 4. Hit the bar, hit the post, and Chadwick was played through and was let down by a poor touch. Still think Rochdale will be a playoff side, hence the celebration at full time. Also, we didn't go to a back 6. We went to a back 5 off the ball and a 4-2-4 on the ball, hence why we broke forward so quickly in the second half. Not sure how he can say he thinks they should've won? Don't recall them really having a shot on target?
